End of high school, rite of passage thingy.
The end of that quote is "Think cotillion with spiked punch and the electric slide." I don't know who said it.

This last weekend was my daughter's junior prom. Actually, it was her friend's junior prom. And if I say so, myself, she was beautiful. She damn well, should have looked beautiful after all the money spent on hair, jewelry, shoes, and having her make-up professionally done. At least we had bought the dress last year, and I didn't have to put the money out for that.
I went to my junior prom with Ricky Sian. He was an hour and a half late, and when we got to the prom, one of his close friends, a chick named Kim, spent the rest of the evening telling me how this was really all a joke, and the only reason he came and picked me up was because his brother made him. And how could I possibly expect anyone to want to go out with me. Blah, blah, blah. By the end of the dance, I was in tears, and went home.
I went stag to my senior prom.
Knitting Content...
I bought a pattern for ballet type slippers the other night. It wasn't much, and it was delivered via email, so that was cool. The not cool thing is that 1. I can't seem to get gauge with any of the cotton yarn I have, and 2) they were coming out huge!!! The pattern seems a little off, and I am sure that I can fix it to my liking if I could just get one knit. It's just that when things don't seem to be working out the way I expect them to, I get extremely frustrated.
