Purls and Lace

Just some thoughts on my day, my knitting, and life in general

It's been a long time, been a long time, a lonely, lonely time

So, things have been hectic around here lately, and I also have switched from a PC to a Mac since my last post, so it was a little bit of a learning curve. Finally, found a blog editing software that works with the Mac, and now I am set to go.

On the knitting front, I haven't been doing much, due to the family and work situations, but I have full intention of getting back to it. I bought some kool-aid today to try my hand at dying some yarn. I have some merino that I spun up quite some time ago, that I will use.

Hubby will be coming home from South America tomorrow, and then on Mother's Day we will be spending the weekend in Columbia. We will probably have to drive up, since the plane won't be complete by then. And the next weekend after that is the Young Eagle's Event at Reid-Hillview, then the 21st we are going to Las Vegas to see a dear friend be ordained into the priesthood, and then on the 28th, is a family reunion, which I may just bag, for a multitude of reasons.

On the FiberRAOK front, I just sent out a ton of small RAOKs.
Now that I am back, I hope to post on a more frequent basis.
