Thirteen More Things about Paulette

1. I consider every day a learning experience, for example, today I learned where to look on my car to find out if it has Federal emissions or California emissions.
2. My best friend is only 23, the same age as my oldest child.
3. Every Monday I bring in fresh flowers for my office
4. I was almost in the movie Apocalypse Now.
5. I won tickets to see the Beatles on their last tour of America and my mother wouldn't let me go.
6. I love old musicals.
7. I am NOT a morning person.
8. According to my office mate I am a party all by myself.
9. I have three children, two boys and a girl.
10. I have three cats, a bird, and a turtle.
11. I often threaten to shave my head. It would be so much easier!
12. I will do anything for the people I love.
13. I only weighed 2 lbs 12 ounces when I was born

Thursday Thirteen


Thirteen Things about Paulette
1. This is the first time I've done a Thursday Thirteen.
2. Despite the fact that I consider Guam my true home, I am Mexican and Apache.
3. I am much older (much, much, much) than most people think.
4. I drive a beautiful 1979 450SL Mercedes convertible which I love despite the fact that it has no heater.
5. My passion is knitting and fiber, anything fiber.
6. My daughter looks exactly like I did at 18. Poor child, at least she knows what she will look like at 51!
7. I am a computer geek, but really do hate working on other people's computers.
8. I am obsessed with chocolate, particularly dark chocolate.
9. My office mate has a beta fighting fish named sparky who leaves me "quotes of the day"
10. My favorite store is an automotive parts store (they love me, too! parts for the mercedes aren't cheap!)
11. My husband wants me to go to Austria with him in April, and honestly, I don't want to go. (how nuts am I?)
12. I need naps, every single day.
13. My wedding anniversary is January 13th. I absolutely love it when it falls on a Friday!
