It seems like forever since I last posted, been through a lot of personal turmoil, the most tragic being the passing of my brother. He was a very young 53 years old. I miss him terribly. This drawing was done by his wife's sister. I love this drawing.
It's hard to lose someone so young, and it sure makes you question your own mortality. One of the things I did come to realize with his passing was that I do not have one picture of him and me together as adults. In fact, I don't believe that I have any pictures of me with my own family since I was about 12 years old. Pretty odd, or rather telling depending on how you look at it.
I have been keeping myself busy as I go through this grieving by knitting. I completed three Baby Surprise Sweaters for my two new nieces and one new nephew. Excuse the pictures taken in the car on the way to Father's Day, but I knew it I didn't take the pictures then I wouldn't get them taken at all.
